Alhumdulillah, based on confirmed sightings of the new moon around the world, we will complete twenty nine (29) days of Ramadan and ICN will be celebrating Eid-Al-Fitr Tomorrow, Sunday, June 25, 2017 InShaa Allah in accordance with the hadeeth of the Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhi wa sallam):
Fast when you see the crescent. If it is obscured to you, then complete thirty days of Sha’baan. And break your fast when you see the crescent. If it is obscured to you then fast thirty days, [transmitted by al-Bukhaaree and Muslim].
Zakatul Fitr (FITRA) – $10 per person
Fitra of $10 per person is due for every person in the household and should be paid well ahead of Eid so that the recipient can get the money before Eid, So, please pay your Fitra as soon as possible by one of the following ways:
- Drop off cash/check in Donation Boxes at both masajid labelled “Fitra”
- Pay online and pick “Fitra” from the dropdown menu
